Description

Bring some holiday mischief to your dessert table with these Grinch Oreo Truffles! Creamy, chocolatey, and delightfully festive, these bite-sized treats are fun, colorful, and no-bake easy. Perfect for Christmas parties, cookie exchanges, or edible gifts, each truffle is dipped in green candy coating and topped with a signature red heart—because even the Grinch’s heart grows three sizes this season!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Oreo cookies

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 cups green candy melts (or white chocolate + green food coloring)

  • 2 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)

  • Red heart sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  • Crush Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form.

  • Add softened cream cheese and mix until a dough-like consistency forms.

  • Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.

  • Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.

  • Melt green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  • Dip each truffle into melted coating using a fork; tap off excess.

  • Place on parchment paper and immediately top with a red heart sprinkle.

  • Let set completely before serving or storing.

Notes

For extra flavor, try mint Oreos or add ½ tsp peppermint extract.

Store truffles in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Freeze in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
